A Food Safety System Built Around Prevention
Our approach begins before the product is harvested.
Wonder Fields works with growers, packing facilities, logistics partners, and service providers that are expected to meet applicable food safety requirements and our customer specifications.

Our food safety framework focuses on key areas including:

Good Agricultural Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
Worker health, hygiene, and sanitation
Agricultural and post-harvest water management
Cleaning and sanitation procedures
Product handling and storage
Temperature and cold-chain management
Food safety training
Risk-based supplier verification
Documentation and recordkeeping
Corrective and preventive actions
Traceability and recall readiness
Our objective is straightforward: identify potential risks early, establish appropriate controls, verify compliance, and maintain the documentation necessary to respond quickly and effectively when required.

Traceability You Can Trust
Traceability is one of the foundations of our food safety program.
Traceability is one of the foundations of our food safety program.
Wonder Fields maintains traceability systems designed to connect the products we sell with their supply-chain history, including the applicable grower, growing or packing operation, product, lot information, shipment, and customer transaction records. This allows our team to move beyond knowing what product was shipped.
Our goal is to maintain visibility into where it came from, how it moved through our supply chain, and where it was delivered.
This traceability supports rapid investigation, product identification, customer communication, and recall procedures should a food safety concern ever arise.

Verified Supply Chain
Wonder Fields combines its internal food safety controls with independent certification, auditing, and regulatory programs throughout its supply network. Depending on the product, growing operation, facility, certification scope, and destination market, our supply chain works with recognized programs and organizations including:

PrimusGFS
Selected growing and packing operations within our supply network are audited or certified under PrimusGFS food safety programs.
These programs provide an independent framework for evaluating agricultural practices, food safety management systems, packing operations, sanitation, documentation, and other controls across fresh produce operations.

CCOF — Organic Certification
Wonder Fields works with CCOF in connection with the certification and handling of organic products within our supply chain.
CCOF certification supports compliance with USDA National Organic Program requirements and provides independent verification of certified organic operations and products.

PAO / Primus Auditing Operations
Certain organic growing operations within our agricultural network work with Primus Auditing Operations (PAO) for organic certification programs, including applicable USDA NOP and Mexican Organic Products Law requirements.
This provides an additional layer of independent verification for organic production within our supply chain.

Foreign Supplier Verification Program — FSVP
For products imported into the United States, Wonder Fields maintains applicable Foreign Supplier Verification Program controls.
FSVP establishes a risk-based framework for evaluating foreign suppliers and verifying that imported foods are produced in accordance with applicable U.S. food safety requirements.

SMETA — Responsible Supply Chain
Selected production operations within our supply network participate in SMETA social compliance audits.
SMETA evaluates areas including labor standards, worker health and safety, environmental practices, and business ethics, helping provide greater transparency into the social and operational practices behind our agricultural supply chain.

Fair Trade — Program in Progress
Wonder Fields is working toward expanding Fair Trade Certified sourcing opportunities within our agricultural network.
Fair Trade programs evaluate social, environmental, and economic practices at participating agricultural operations and are aligned with our objective of building a transparent, responsible, and sustainable produce supply chain.

Our Commitment
Protecting the product. Protecting our customers. Protecting the supply chain.
Food safety requires more than a certificate.
It requires a culture of accountability supported by qualified growers, documented procedures, independent verification, supply-chain visibility, and the ability to respond when something does not meet our standards. That is the system Wonder Fields continues to build.
Our customers rely on us not only to source fresh produce, but to understand the people, facilities, processes, and documentation behind it.
